Tibi Hegyesi is a Toronto based visual artist with a MA in design and visual communication received in 1983 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania. He moved to Toronto in 1990 and was a practicing designer and a branding strategist until 2006, when he became a full time visual artist. He re-emerged on the world art scene as a mature artist whose distinctiveness lies in his ability to capture and translate the essence of the world around him into powerful contemporary visuals of an unseen depth of field and richness of color.
